My good friend, former officemate, co-food lover (she likes good food, I on the other hand like food…period) and what I would claim my Sagada convert, Michelle asked if we could go to Sagada on a weekend. It was her first time to go there.
I asked her, “One and a half days lang? Anong magagawa natin dun?”
She replied nonchalantly, “Food trip sa Yogurt House.”
And so that would be the farthest and longest time I endeavored just to…well, eat.
But since it’s Sagada, I gladly said yes.
When first we arrived at the restaurant, she told me to take her picture by the door. She framed the shot and I have to admit, it was a great picture:
And here she is enjoying her pasta (nobody could doubt on her big smile that the long trip to Sagada was worth it):
After our meal, rain clouds started rolling down the mountainside. As we were expecting for the rain to fall anytime soon, we took advantage of what little time we have left for some snapshots. Actually, she took the advantage… : )
But hands-down, this is my favorite photo of our trip. It was a stolen shot I made of her while she was looking outside our room’s open window. Hmm…I wonder what she was thinking. I just hope she was contemplating on how to return for a longer Sagada stay.
